Accessibility Statement
Last updated October 26, 2026
A business that sells clarity should be readable by everyone who visits. This site was built with accessibility treated as part of the work, not as an afterthought.
The standard being used
This site is built against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as its working standard. That is the target the site is measured against and maintained toward.
What that means here
- A single page heading with a logical, ordered heading structure beneath it
- Every interactive element reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline
- A skip link to jump straight past the navigation to the main content
- Text and interface colors checked for contrast against the background behind them
- No information carried by color alone — status is always labeled in words as well
- Descriptive text alternatives for every illustration, and no meaningful text baked into images
- Form fields with visible labels, optional fields marked as optional, and error messages that say what to fix
- Buttons and links at least 24 by 24 pixels (most are 44 or more), and a layout that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide
- Full support for reduced-motion preferences — animation is removed, and nothing is hidden behind it
- Text that stays readable when a browser zooms in
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is not a box that gets checked once. This page describes the standard being worked toward rather than a certification, and no claim of perfect conformance is made. Where something falls short, it gets fixed.
Found a barrier?
If any part of this site is difficult to read, navigate, or use — with a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, or anything else — that is worth knowing about and it will be addressed.
Report an accessibility problem
Email dondrell@madecleardigital.com or call (804) 592-1715. Describe what you ran into and what you were trying to do, and you will get a reply. If any part of this site is hard to use, the phone line is an alternative way to reach the same service.
