How We Work

You see it in writing. You approve it. Then I do it.

The same five steps apply to a $450 cleanup and to a new website.

The five steps

  1. You request a review

Send your website address (if you have one) and what’s bothering you. No passwords. Don’t send them through the form.

  2. I review the site, free

I look at it on a phone and a computer and note what’s wrong, what’s missing, and where your contact form sends requests.

  3. You get a written scope and price

A plain list of what I’ll do, what it costs, the timeline, the payment schedule, and what isn’t included. Anything outside the list is quoted separately.

  4. You approve before anything is published

Nothing goes live on your site until you’ve approved it. Business facts like hours, prices, and service areas come from you.

  5. I do the agreed work, and you check it

I work through the approved list. Care clients also get a short note each month listing what was done.

What you own

You own your accounts: domain, hosting, website platform, form service, and any business tools. You also own the website files and content I create for you.

Some pieces come with their own licenses, such as a theme, a font, a plugin, or a stock photo. Those third-party terms still apply.

Access and passwords

Don’t send passwords through the contact form or email. If I need access, we arrange it after the scope is agreed, ideally by adding me as a user that you can remove later.

Support is scheduled

I handle requests during business hours, Monday–Saturday 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and Sunday noon–5 p.m. Eastern. Care work happens on a monthly schedule. This isn’t an emergency or on-call service.

What I won’t promise

  • Search rankings or more calls
  • Leads or revenue
  • Guaranteed uptime
  • That a website can’t be hacked
  • That a particular app connects before I’ve checked it

Send me your website address. I’ll tell you what I’d fix first and what it costs. The review is free.
